Hi, I’m Hester – I’ve had more than 30 full time jobs - but didn’t find what worked for me, until I launched my own business.

Now I’m an ADHD cheerleader, keynote speaker, neurodiversity consultant and PR expert.

With a powerful mix of lived experience and professional expertise, I am on a mission to help business owners to understand their speedy brains. Whether you are ADHD / Autistic /AuDHD or not sure - I’ve got you.

Before launching Perfectly Autistic with my autistic / ADHD husband Kelly five years ago, I had spent over two decades in TV and PR, as a presenter on The Wright Stuff and working at ITV. Then moving into PR and communications leading high-impact campaigns for brands like Hitachi, Mars Drinks, BMW Alphabet, AXA PPP Healthcare and Sport Relief. I even set up my own boutique PR agency.

Freelance writer

I am also a freelance writer, having written for Evening Standard, Metro, Arabian Business. I am a former magazine features editor, so I know EXACTLY what the press looks for in a story, having been on both sides of the fence.

Neurodiversity support

We launched Perfectly Autistic in 2000. Since then Kelly and I have trained global brands on neuroinclusive practices including Sony Music, Marks & Spencer, TUI and the NHS. I have spoken everywhere from The House of Commons to Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium.

This year I went on a UK-wide theatre tour with my show ADHD Unmasked. Performing to thousands of people during the 27-date tour across England, Scotland and Wales.

Being diagnosed with ADHD at 43, was honestly life changing. I dived headfirst into understanding how ADHD and autism shows up in people at work. Since then I have coached tons of people, I am even Red Bull Formula One’s ADHD coach.

You might’ve seen me in the press. Everywhere from OK! magazine, Metro, Forbes, Telegraph, Stylist, BBC or in viral clips from my ADHD Chatter podcast interview with Alex Partridge, which has now been viewed over 23 million times. I’m also a regular on BBC radio on BBC Radio 2, Radio 4, Radio 5, BBC World Service and have been on ITV News.

Family life
I’m a mum to two ADHD/autistic teens so I KNOW what it’s like to juggle business, family and speedy brains. I am a big fan of trash TV, buying trainers, snacking and talking A LOT!
